Happy Camper !

She's headed out of town again ! Alison leaves tomorrow for volleyball camp in Bristol. She's working on her "setter" skills. Some kid's are home bodies, and others are ready to get out there and have fun whenever they get the chance. Alison is certainly in the second group! I'm sure she will have a blast, and come home Friday exhausted. Alison loves activity, and was given the gift of "laughter". She enjoys sports and always has a smile, or just laughs as she goes, and goes. I love to watch her participate. If all kids were like her, there would be no room for spectators in any venue in America. Have fun Alison ! Be Careful!!! I love you Ali.

The Law Shows Up !

Debbie, the girls and I had a great lunch today with Jim & Kathy Law. Jim stopped and picked up Sonny's on the way! Alison & I couldn't contain ourselves, it's been so long since we've had Sonny's! We had a special time together today. Jim and I have always had a "cut to the chase" type of relationship. He's the one that welcomed us to First Woodstock when we first arrived in Atlanta in 1997. When we got ready to leave Ocala to come north, Terry Williams told me to look up Jim Law, and we would hit it off. We always have! Jim is a humble man of God, that literally is on his face before Him day after day. I love Jim Law. We ended our time together with a sweet time of prayer. Good Times....Need to get Jim out of that FSU camp, He's more like a Gator!

Run For The House!

It's hard to believe that I could have a son in law running for political office. Hasn't really sunk in yet. Guess it's common in Oklahoma to "Run For The House" with all the tornado activity. John is a great guy, and is really a blessing to Leia. Having moved beyond my premarital research, I am now focused on this political aspiration. I have found some amazing similarities between John and Theodore Roosevelt. Check out the pictures! Although they are both Republicans, views and policies would certainly differ. Roosevelt was the youngest president to date, at age 42. Also an attorney. Maybe they will add John's bust to Mount Rushmore one day! Here's a link to John's campaign site http://www.johnpauljordan.com/ . Love you boy!

We had some great times while at SouthTrust in Florida, Birmingham, and Atlanta. It's always fun to catch up, and discuss the latest!! Thanks Kevin!!
